New Listing – Tayana 37 ‘Capercaillie’

We are delighted to have been appointed to act in the sale of the Tayana 37 ‘Capercaillie’.

Designed by Robert Perry and built by the Tayang Yacht Building Company. The Tayana 37 has enjoyed a production run spanning more than 40 years, new build still being available today. With more than 580 yachts built during this period. There is a large active owners association which enjoys direct engagement with the builders, offering owners a wealth of resources and support.

The traditional hull shape with simulated planking above the water line and canoe stern is a common feature on Taiwanese built cruising yachts. Similar to the popular Hans Christian designs. Fitted out using the finest teak on and below decks she offers practical and comfortable accommodation in a traditional style.

With the one owner from new CAPERCAILLIE has enjoyed cruising in the waters of the USA and in later years the Western Isles of Scotland. She has proved herself a highly capable cruising yacht, easily handled by a crew of just two. With significant investment in recent years she now needs a little cosmetic TLC before heading off on new adventures.
