We are delighted to announce the successful sale of the Oyster 46 Ketch ‘JUST TIP TOP’

The Oyster 46 Ketch, designed by Holman and Pye and produced by Oyster in the 1980’s is held in high regard by serious offshore cruisers. The ketch rigged configuration provides an easily handled rig for short-handed cruising. Keeping the yacht well balanced in all conditions. Semi-custom in their design no two versions of the class are identical. The original owners having tweaked the layout to suit their own personal requirements. Hull number 8 of the class JUST TIP TOP is with only her second owner since being built in 1983. She is fitted out below decks providing accommodation for 8 over 4 separate cabins with a large galley and saloon area.

Her new French owners plan to enjoy cruising the Western Isles of Scotland this summer. At the end of the season she will head south to her new home port in the north of France. With a mini refit to follow she will then head off for some blue water adventures. We wish her and her new crew fair winds and calm seas.
