Designed by Bill Dixon the Moody Eclipse 33 was a joint venture between Moody Marketing, Marine Projects Ltd and Marine Development Ltd which resulted in 3 different models of the Eclipse range going into production. The Eclipse 33 is the smallest variation and proved to be a very popular design when in production between 1986 & 1994, the strong demand is still evident in today’s second hand market. Based on a sailing yacht hull the Eclipse designs offer real on the water performance under sail when compared with other deck saloon and motor sailor offerings.
The Moody Eclipse 33 ‘HEXIDOR’ is a very well presented MkI version of the design, with the full internal helm station including wheel steering example. She has enjoyed significant re-fitting in recent years. Now recluctantly offered for sale her extensive inventory includes highlights such as:
