The Arthur Robb designed yawl CASQUET has been a familiar sight on the west coast of Scotland for more than 30 years. An interesting design, considered by many to have been ahead of her time; she features an unusually generous beam for a yacht of the 1950’s with a centreplate reducing her draft without loss of performance. Conceived primarily as a cruising yacht, capable of occasional racing she has proven to be a rewarding boat to sail.
Her current owners purchased CASQUET in 2019 and undertook a re-fit during 2019 and 2020. Now reluctantly offered for sale due to ill health her inventory highlights include:
Lying on her berth in Tarbert Harbour, Loch Fyne CASQUET will remain in Tarbert until the spring of 2024 when her new owner will take her south to her new home port of Cork, Ireland. We wish her new owners the very best of luck as they take over the custodianship of this lovely classic cruiser.
