The Sadler 29 was an immensely popular design with over 300 hulls being produced between 1980 and 1988. Some later yachts were produced under the Rival-Bowman banner in the 1990's. Designed as a safe family cruiser the design proved to be a capable and quick passage maker, every bit as capable as her larger sisters.

One of the famous 'unsinkable' Sadler designs the Sadler 29 is built with a number of cavities formed between the hull and inner structural moulding. All cavities are filled with foam giving the boat its unsinkable claim qualities.
