Description

The Cornish Yawl is built on the same hull and deck design which went on to underpin later Cornish Crabber 24 designs. With their traditional lines and rig the boats have proven to be popular as coastal cruisers and are greatly admired by passers-by in any anchorage marina. With the removable bowsprit enhancing the sail area considerably her performance in all weathers is admirable while the yawl rig provides greater flexibility in the sail plan when in heavy weather. With her retractable centreboard improving sailing performance over the later designs she is ideally suited to exploring anchorages too shallow for most yachts.

Offering accommodation for 5 below decks the Cornish Yawl is a proper little yacht with galley, heads compartment and chart table. With her current owners for the last 20 years + the Cornish Yawl MALLIE has been a reliable cruising yacht providing many hours and miles of safe reliable sailing. Now reluctantly for sale as her owners ‘swallow the anchor’ she is lying ashore for the winter and ready for immediate viewing. Her inventory highlights including:

Yanmar 2GM20 marine diesel engine (2006 installation)
