Description

The manufacturers describe the Botnia Targa boats as ‘The 4x4 of the Sea’. This bold claim has been well proven with examples of the various models to be found in all corners of the globe in service as both commercial and recreational craft. The walk-around, self-draining deck layout with a well-protected wheelhouse and flybridge lending itself to shorthanded operation.

Purchased by her current owner in 2020 the Targa 27 STARCUS has proven herself well suited to exploring the west coast of Scotland. Based on her mooring in Crinan she regularly visits the islands of Colonsay and Coll and has safely cruised to North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. Offered for sale afloat and ready for the 2024 season her inventory highlights include:

Original gelcoat finish to hull and decks, professionally polished March 2024.
Underwater hull antifouled March 2024
Volvo Penta D4-260A marine diesel engine, just over 400hrs of running since installation (2013)

PRESS REVIEW:
‘Apart form a clever layout, the Targa also offers plenty of sea kindly performance and fast passage making potential, together with a stout build. As one interested party at a boat show commented, “All you have to do is add some imagination as to what you want to do and where you want to go”.’
