Mark Cameron Yachts are delighted to announce the successful sale of the Victory 40 Ketch ‘Crazy Diamond of Dale’.

A well presented and extensively equipped bluewater cruising ketch. Optimised for short-handed sailing and fitted out below deck as a comfortable live aboard for two. Extensively re-fitted by the vendors CRAZY DIAMOND was re-launched in 2000 following a four year re-fit. Works which included stripping out the joinery work below decks back to the bare hull and re-fitting her along with a new mast and re-configuration of the rig. Highlights of her inventory include:

• Hull, deck and superstructure re-paint in 2015.
• Beta Marine 62hp marine diesel engine fitted 2005.

Having spent the best part of 20 years exploring all corners of the globe from Cape Horn and the islands of Chile to the desolation of Svalbard she has proven to be the ideal shorthanded blue water cruiser. The ketch rig providing a manageable sail regardless of wind and sea conditions. This yacht is built to go places and is now with new owners who are aspiring to set off on their own bluewater adventures in 2021, eventually ending up in Crazy Diamond’s new home cruising ground; the Canadian coast.
