Mark Cameron Yachts

SOLD – 2003 Hunter 306 ‘RANA’

Hunter 306

Mark Cameron Yachts are delighted to announce the successful sale of the 2003 Hunter 306 ‘RANA’.

The Hunter 306 offers a great combination of an easily handled sail plan with all lines run aft, spacious cockpit which is well protected from the weather and spacious living space below decks. The backstay less fractional rig has proven very capable and permits the used of a mainsail with a larger than normal roach, providing improved performance and balancing for the sail plan. With the mainsheet cleverly mounted on the stainless steel arch and the winches mounted on the cabin top by the companionway the cockpit is left clear of obstructions when under sail.

A double-keeled example of the Hunter 306 RANA has been with her current owners since 2016 and has proven to be the ideal yacht for coastal cruising. Well equipped RANA was offered for sale with a comprehensive inventory including:

  • Double keels in bilge keel style configuration
  • Kevlar reinforced hull laminate
  • Yanmar 2GM20F marine diesel engine with Yanmar saildrive
  • 2 domestic batteries
  • Raymarine ST40 navigation instruments
  • Lowrance HDS10M chart plotter
  • Raymarine ST4000+ wheelpilot
  • Garmin GPS128 GPS
  • NASA Marine DSCVHF
  • Eberspacher diesel heating system
  • Pressurised hot and cold water
  • Holding tank
  • Electric windlass
  • Inflatable dinghy

Lying ashore at Creran Marine the Hunter 306 RANA will be loaded onto a lorry for a trip to her new home port in Grantown on the Forth. We wish her new owners fair winds and calm seas for their first season.
