POGO 8.50 ‘THUMPER’ – SOLD

Yacht Conveyancing Services

Mark Cameron Yachts are delighted to announce the successful sale of the 2010 Pogo 8.50 ‘THUMPER’.

Acting on behalf of a client based in the North East of Scotland we provided conveyancing services in relation to the sale and purchase of the Pogo 8.50 ‘THUMPER’, for sale privately; lying on the Beaulieu River in Hampshire.

Launched in 1999 the Pogo 8.50 was the second production yacht from the builder’s Pogo Structures, cementing their reputation for building highly engineered yachts in a modern style for both cruising and racing; short-handed, offshore. Following its launch the Pogo 8.50 quickly set a benchmark winning the Transquadra Solo race with Michel Mirabel at the helm.  In 2001 the design went on to win the prestigious ‘Sailboat of Year’. With over 180 examples of the class built they have proved to be versatile offering owners fun, fast sailing in a highly capable boat.

We look forward to seeing THUMPER on the water next year at some of the Scottish sailing events, a quiet 2020 season should let her new owner and crew get to grips with this very modern cruiser racer.

If your considering buying a boat privately and are nervous about the process please contact us to enquire about our conveyancing services.
