Mark Cameron Yachts is delighted to announce the successful sale of the magnificent Oyster 68 sloop MOONSHADOW OF LORNE.
A well-presented example of this eye-catching Holeman & Pye design; the flagship of the Oyster fleet at the time of her launch.
The Oyster 68 proved to be a huge success for the company, offered on a semi-custom basis no two boats built were identical. Just 12 boats were built before the design was revised and launched as the Oyster 70. MOONSHADOW OF LORNE was subject to a major re-fit in 2008/09 which included topsides and superstructure re-finishing, new teak decks, complete machinery overhaul prior to purchase by the current. She has been in the current ownership for almost a decade and during that time has been lovingly maintained and upgrade.
Having operated as a successful, luxury charter yacht on the West coast of Scotland for the past decade she is heading North with her new owners. From later this season she will be operating as a luxury charter yacht in the stunning waters around Iceland. We wish her new owners the best of luck with their new enterprise.
