NEW LISTING – MOODY S38 ‘TROFAST’

We are pleased to have been appointed to act in the sale of the Moody S38 ‘Trofast’. One of the best examples of the class we have seen in recent years this boat will have to be viewed early to avoid disappointment.

The Moody S38 is a relatively rare model from the highly regarded British builder with only 60 examples of the class built in total. Designed by Bill Dixon she was designed with performance cruising in mind with the aft cockpit a step away from the traditional centre cockpit cruising Moody’s. Built to the normal high standards the design has proved to be a desirable cruising yacht with many examples having completed extended blue water cruises.

A much loved example TROFAST has been lavished with numerous upgrades during the current ownership including North Sails tri-radial main and genoa, new Eberspacher heating system, new electric anchor windlass, new anchor and chain along with fresh upholstery in the cabins. With the large aft cockpit and all lines lead aft she is easily handled on deck by a crew of just two. Below decks with three spacious double cabins and two heads she provides comfortable accommodation for a full crew of seven.
