New Listing – Moody 31MkII ‘Nocturne’

Mark Cameron Yachts is delighted to have been appointed to act in the sale of the bilge keeled, Moody 31 MkII ‘NOCTURNE’.

The Moody 31, designed by Bill Dixon proved to be one of the most popular designs of that era from the well respected British builder. An evolution of the original MkI. The MkII features a lightly revised interior. Externally the addition of the sugar scoop transom and permanent boarding ladder arrangement proved popular. When production ceased a total of 300 hulls had been manufactured.

A rarer bilge keel example of this popular class ‘NOCTURNE’ is reluctantly offered for sale due to ill health. Her inventory highlights include.

• Volvo Penta D1-30 engine, fitted new 2008.
• Engine full serviced and cutlass bearing replaced in last 12 months.
• Full standing rigging replacement in 2011.
• Hardwired shore power system.
