NEW LISTING – 1974 Seamaster 925 ‘MUSETTA’

Mark Cameron Yachts are delighted to have been appointed to act in the sale of the 1974 Seamaster 925 ‘MUSETTA’.

The Seamaster 925 was designed by Holeman and Pye in the early 1970’s, in production from 1972 through until the early 1980’s In total over 170 Seamaster 925’s were built by Seamaster Ltd. The company has a reputation for working with the leading designers of the time, building high-quality yachts which all had a reputation for being well-mannered and rewarding to sail. Seamaster’s were known for the high-quality of build. At over 40 years old the condition the boats are testament to the quality of the construction and the materials used by the builders. The  was Seamaster 925 no exception, a Sailing Today review noting ‘….although an older design, this boat was way ahead of its time in many ways and offers good value for money.’

Built-in 1974 MUSETTA is an earlier example of the class which has enjoyed extensive upgrading in recent years. She offers accommodation for a total of 6 below decks with 3 excellent sea-berth. Inventory highlights include:

• Beta Marine BD1005 28hp engine. Installed 1999.
• Standing rigging replaced in 2021
• Harken Roller Reefing system, with new forestay fitted 2017
• Mainsail 2012.
• Genoa 2015.
• Raymarine plotter installed new 2013.
• Raymarine autopilot fitted new 2018.
• Nelson gas cooker and gas system renewed 2014.
• Shorepower system with galvanic isolator
