NEW LISTING – 1972 Nicholson 32 MkX ‘LANAI’

Mark Cameron Yachts are delighted to have been appointed to act in the sale of the 1972 Nicholson 32 MkX ‘LANAI’.

The introduction of the Nicholson 32 in 1963 marked the advent of series GRP production boat building in the UK. In the following 20 years the Nicholson 32 would see a total of 11 different marks produced, each honing the design and improving its appeal to buyers. The introduction of the MkX in 1972 saw a fundamental re-design of the hull with a completely new deck moulding. The hull for the MkX was lengthened slightly in aft end with the freeboard increased. The deck and cockpit were also completely replaced with a new design modernising the appearance while improving living space below and providing a larger cockpit, better protected from the elements.

The Nicholson 32 MkX LANAI has been in the ownership of the same family since 1978. She has proven to be a dependable and loyal member of the family cruising in the waters of Scotland predominately with periods based abroad while cruising in Brittany, France and Majorca. Benefitting from continual upgrading and maintenance her comprehensive inventory includes:

Afloat and incommission on her berth in Ardfern the Nicholson 32 MkX LANAI is still being enjoyed by her owners and as such is available for viewing strictly by prior arrangement.
