The Fairey Huntsman 28 has to be one of the most iconic motorboat designs of the twentieth century and has become synonymous with performance and style. Designed as a motor cruiser she created a loyal following after successfully competing against purpose built racing boats in the golden age of events such as the Cowes – Torquay powerboat race. The Fairey Huntsman 28 SHIKARI benefits from having been extensively refitted between 2008 and 2010, taken back to a bare shell she had an extensive list of works completed. Surveyed in the spring of 2023 she is presented for sale with a comprehensive inventory including highlights such as:
Lying on her berth in Tarbert Harbour, Loch Fyne with Fairey Huntsman SHIKARI is available for immediate viewing. The owner has a winter storage space booked within a shed locally, the booking can transfer with the boat if required.
