Nauticat built their reputation with solidly built and well finished motorsailers. With their own distinctive styling the ketch rigged motorsailors established the companies reputation for building high quality yachts with the level of finish buyers expected from a Scandinavian builder.
The Nauticat 38 was first introduced in 1975 as the companies flag ship model and remained in production until the companies demise in 2018. During the 40+ year production run very little changed externally. Below decks there were various layout options available and many subtle changes were made to the styling and finishing.
SHE ANN is a lovingly cared for example of the Nauticat 38 with just her second owners since new. Below decks she has he ‘standard layout’ offering a double forward cabin, linear galley with lower dinette which coverts to provide an occasional double berth, wheel house with seating aft and a double master cabin aft. Her new owners will be recommissioning the Nauticat 38 ‘SHE ANN’ ready for launching later in April before moving her to her new home berth in Craobh Marina, ready for a summer of cruising the coast and Islands of Scotland’s west coast.
