Listed in late 2020 all viewings of the yacht were conducted virtually avoiding the need for any non-essential travel during the period of national lockdown.
Nauticat built their reputation with solidly built and well-finished motorsailers which motored better than they sailed. Alongside this they also built a range of ‘Pilothouse Sailing Yachts’ aimed at the sailor wanting a the protection of a wheelhouse without compromising the sailing performance of their yacht. The pilothouse range retain the solid build and high-quality finish above and below decks while being designed with sail power as the primary mode of propulsion.
The Nauticat 351 is a different kettle of fish from the traditional Nauticat designs and is an evolution of the earlier Nauticat 35. Benefitting from a completely new hull and deck design, including modernised keel and rudder profiles top improve sailing performance. Below decks they offer an elevated saloon with panoramic views, internal helm and engine controls, two double cabins, two head and a spacious linear galley.
A fantastic example of this pilothouse design from Nauticat; providing comfortable accommodation for four over two double cabins. SUVI is a lovingly cared for example of the Nauticat 351 with just her second owners since new. She benefits from continual professional maintenance and upgrading throughout the current ownership.
