Mark Cameron Yachts is delighted to announce the successful sale of the Moody 422 ‘RAWANAH’

The Bill Dixon designed Moodys are highly regarded as capable offshore cruising yachts. The Moody 422 introduced in the mid 1980’s was ahead of her time. The clever design offering comfortable accommodation for six over three cabins with an additional two occasional berths in the saloon. The design boasting two large heads along with a grand master cabin aft.

A fantastically presented example of the Moody 422 RAWANAH benefits from an extensive refit in 2007. Presented in wonderful condition for her age she comes with a sail away inventory which includes highlights such as:

• Underwater hull epoxy coated in 2006
• New stainless steel keelbolts fitted 2017
• Rudder bearings replaced 2007
• Teak laid cockpit replaced with solid teak planking panels in 2007
• Deck hatches replaced/reglazed 2009
• New Beta Marine Diesels Beta 50 fitted 2007
• Bruntons Auto Prop propeller
• Standing rigging replaced fully 2013
• Staysail roller reefing system fitted new 2010

An upgraded from her new owner Moody 346. RAWANAH will remain based on the West Coast of Scotland with plans for cruising in the Scandinavian countries when travel restrictions ease. We look forward to seeing this lovely yacht cruising next summer.
