Mark Cameron Yachts

Moody 33 MkI ‘MINIMUS’ – SOLD

Mark Cameron Yachts are delighted to announce the successful sale of the Moody 33 MkI ‘MINIMUS’.

Introduced in 1972 the Angus Primrose designed Moody 33 was the first model by the highly respected British builder aimed at the mass production GRP yacht market. The centre cockpit design was a relative rarity at the time of the launch of the design. The completely separate aft cabin proving a popular addition.

MINIMUS is a much loved and exceptionally well cared for example of the class. In the current ownership for just over a decade she has proved to be an ideal family cruising yacht. She benefits from having been extensively re-fitted at the time of the owner’s purchase in 2008; relaunching in 2013, works including:

  • Professionally two-pack painted topsides. (2013)
  • Re-painting of decks.
  • Renovation and re-finishing of all internal woodwork.
  • Replacement headlining forward.
  • Replacement of upholstery forward.
  • New standing rigging. (2013)
  • Factory reconditioning of engine.

Staying local we look forward to meeting her new owners as they explore the Scottish waters in the coming seasons.
