A rare opportunity to acquire an exceptionally well-maintained example of one of the earliest Hallberg-Rassy mass productions designs.
From the board of Olle Enderlein the Hallberg-Rassy Mistral 33 was designed without regard to any racing rules. The yacht was to indulge the cruising sailor, in the words of the original sales brochure she was ‘for those who appreciate beautiful lines and lovely woodwork’. The low freeboard and swept sheer with her traditional timber built superstructure making her appear like a timber-built classic. The design proved to be a very capable sea boat with several examples clocking up multiple transatlantic crossings.
ROYAL FLUSH is an unmolested example of the Hallberg-Rassy Mistral 33, in the same family ownership since 1978. She has been professionally maintained in a sympathetic manner; below decks she is very much as she would have been when leaving the factory in 1976. In recent years she has benefitted from significant investment with considerable works undertaken to replace the cockpit coamings and address other areas of degradation. Her inventory highlights include:
Staying local her new owner is giving her a quick re-fit before launching for the 2021 season. We look forward to seeing this magnificent classic yacht on her new home berth in Craobh Marina before too long.
