We are delighted to announce the conclusion of the sale of ‘Gentoo’ today.
‘Sleek and attractive, the Elan 40 is built to sail quickly and easily with a structure designed to give any sailor confidence’ was how the highly regarded designer Rob Humphreys summed up the Elan 40 at her launch. Going onto win the Cruising World’s Best Performance Boat Award in 2004 the design has proved a popular choice with both cruisers and club racers.
Lying afloat at Ardfern Yacht Centre the new owner plans to base the boat locally to explore the west coast and hebridean islands of Scotland in 2019 before moving the boat to her new home port on the south coast of England.
