Mark Cameron Yachts is delighted to announce the successful sale of the Alubat Ovni 43 ‘LOTUS’.

The Ovni range of alloy built, lift keel cruisers have built an enviable reputation as durable, go-anywhere blue water cruisers. Arguably the lifting keel allows them to explore waters out the reach of normal cruising yachts.

Bought to fulfil a long held blue water cruising ambition. LOTUS explored the waters of the Atlantic as far south as Trinidad and as far north as Nova Scotia during a two year expedition with the current owners. Sailing the large majority of the time with just two aboard. She has proved herself the ideal, short handed blue water cruiser. Since the end of the 2018 season she has enjoyed a full cosmetic overhaul with a full re-paint of the sheerband, deck, superstructure, cockpit and transom. Full valeted below decks she is reluctantly offered for sale with a comprehensive inventory. She benefits from:

• Fully battened, Hydranet mainsail by Owen Sails (2016)
• Roller reefing, Pro-Vectran genoa by Owen Sails (2018)
• Electric anchor windlass (2017)
• Full overhaul of steering gear and rudder bearings (2016)
