The Salona yard in Croatia was established in 2002 producing a 46’ cruiser racer which was well received in Europe. The design concept appealing to those buyers who would normally buy yachts from names such as X-Yachts, Italia Yachts and the Sun Fast range from Jeaneau. Having established the brand the second generation of Salona Yachts included a greater range of sizes. The company philosophy being to build yachts which are designed to perform well under sail while being easily handled by a limited number of crew. A young company they have whole heardly adopted modern construction techniques including a stainless steel structural frame internally and vacuum-infused hull laminates.
The Salona 34 ‘STOIC’ is a lightly used example of this second generation Salona Yachts design. With just her 2nd owner she has proved to be a great family yacht for cruising while being a rewarding boat to sail in local regattas.
