The Bill Dixon designed Moodys are highly regarded as capable offshore cruising yachts. The Moody 425 introduced in the mid-1980s was ahead of its time. The clever design offers comfortable accommodation for six over three cabins with an additional two occasional berths in the saloon, including a master aft cabin with an island berth and two separate heads compartments.
With only her second owners since being launched, the Moody 425 HYSKEIR has been based in the Clyde area since her launch. A lightly used family boat, she has spent every winter of the last 28 years undercover for at least six months of each year. Now reluctantly for sale following a family bereavement, she offers a rare opportunity to acquire a very original, cherished and much-loved example of this space, Bill Dixon designed Moody.
Handed over to her new owners lying in the sheds at Silvers Marine, the Moody 425 HYSKEIR will remain based in the Helensburgh area for the next couple of seasons before her new owners head off to explore the waters of Northern Europe.
