1982 Westwind 35 – ARTHUR WESLEY – SOLD

Westwind 35

Mark Cameron Yachts are delighted to announce the successful sale of the 1982 Westwind 35 ‘ARTHUR WESLEY’.

Built in Taiwan, the Westwind 35 is a design inspired by the Robert Perry-designed Tayana 37, which was built in other Taiwanese yards of the time. The basic hull of the Westwind 35 underpins various versions of the design built in other yards, including the Sunrise 35, Annapolis 35, and Young Sun 35. With its long keel, full-depth rudder, and well-protected cockpit, the design is ideally suited for offshore cruising.

With just her second owner, the Westwind 35, ARTHUR WESLEY, has been based in Scottish waters for the last three decades. Extensively cruising the waters of Scotland’s west coast and islands, she has been a much-loved member of the family. Handed over to her new owner lying ashore at Ardfern, ARTHUR WESLEY will be recommissioned before heading to Ireland where her new owner plans to completely strip the boat and undertake the required modifications to make her ready for entry in the next running of the Golden Globe Race in 2030. We look forward to following her progress.
