The largest of the Peter Brett-designed Rivals, the Rival 41 is a well-proven and much-admired offshore cruising yacht, sharing many of the desirable attributes found in her smaller sisters. Introduced in 1977 alongside the slightly smaller Rival 38, the new designs retained the distinctive Rival sheerline and were built in the same robust fashion with a fin and skeg configuration below the waterline, available in aft and centre cockpit layouts.
A centre cockpit version of the Rival 41 SELKIE benefits from significant upgrading in recent years. Launch and handed over to her new owners afloat in Kerrera Marina, SELKIE will head south to her new home port of Plymouth, where he new owners intend to get her ready to head off for Australia in 2026.
