The replacement for the incredibly popular Westerly Longbow/Renown, the Westerly 33, was introduced in 1977. Larger all around than her predecessors, she retained the distinctive Laurent Giles knuckle bow and gained a sleeker and more elegant coach roof than earlier Westerly designs. With her large centre cockpit and spacious below-decks accommodation, the design proved to be popular; more than 200 were built until the hull was modernised and rebranded as the Westerly Discus.
Well-presented, the Westerly 33 WAY OF THE WIND is in amazingly original condition below decks. Having been lovingly maintained through a succession of ownerships, she offers a rare opportunity to acquire an unmolested example of this spacious family cruiser. Handed over to her new owners afloat at Craobh Marina she is now making her way to the Clyde and her new home berth.
