The SEAMASTER 925 was designed by Holman and Pye in the early 1970’s, in production from 1972 through until the early 1980’s In total over 170 SEAMASTER 925‘s were built by Seamaster LTD. The company has a reputation for working with the leading designers of the time, building high-quality yachts which all had a reputation for being well mannered and rewarding to sail. Seamaster’s were known for the high-quality of build. At over 40 years old the condition the boats are testament to the quality of the construction and the materials used by the builders. The SEAMASTER 925 was no exception, a Sailing Today review noting ‘….although an older design, this boat was way ahead of its time in many ways and offers good value for money.’
With her current owner for more than 30 years the Seamaster 925 LUCY M has enjoyed continual professional maintenance and upgrading. Presented afloat in commission and ready to sail away her inventory includes highlights such as:
Handed over lying in Crinan Harbour the Seamaster 925 is now on passage to her new home mooring in Dunstaffnage near Oban. Purchased by as a first family yacht we look forward to seeing this lovely example of the classic design cruising with her new owners.
