The predecessor to the Westerly Pembroke class the Westerly Tiger is a relatively little known design having been eclipsed by the popularity of the bilged keeled Westerly Centaur. Essentially a stretched version of the smaller Cirrus the Tiger was very similar in proportions to the later Centaur. With her beamer mid sections creating additional volume below decks. The Westerly Tiger is generally acknowledged to be a quick boat under sail than the Centaur.
