Description
The Angus Primrose designed Moody 33 hull served the builders well with the same hull forming the foundations for the Moody 33 MkI, Moody 33s and the final incarnation of the long-running hull the Moody 333. A well-proven design each incarnation proved to be a popular choice with cruising yachtsmen of the time, the hull offer reliable sailing performance while the voluminous interior creates a spacious modern living space below decks.
The Moody 333 was a groundbreaking design of the era. The first of the Moody yachts in this size range to offer a centre cockpit with a double aft cabin accessible from the main living space. A considerable benefit over the earlier designs offering an aft cabin, accessible only from the cockpit and offering two single berths. Below decks the quality of interior finish was a step up from earlier models also with wide use of real wood veneered plywood in place of the commonly used timber effect plastic laminates used on earlier models.
A much loved example of this popular design the Moody 333 BARRAMUNDI has been based in Scottish waters since she was launched in 1982. With her current owners since 2005 she has enjoyed continual upgrading and maintenance. Her inventory includes:
Original gelcoat finish to topsides and deck mouldings
