Description

The Cornish Crabber 24 with her traditional lines and rig is a greatly admired design in any marina. With the retractable bowsprit enhancing the sail area considerably her performance in all weathers is admirable while with the sprit retracted berthing prices are more reasonable. Offering accommodation for 5 below decks the Crabber 24 is a proper little yacht with galley, heads compartment and chart table. Easily handled her shallow draft lets her crew explore waters others can’t.

With her original owners since leaving the factory the Cornish Crabber 24 DEIRDRE was displayed at the Earls Court Boatshow in January 2000. A cherished member of the family, wintering ashore under her full boat cover annually and professionally serviced since new. Her inventory highlights include:

Topsides washed and professionally polished spring 2025.
Below waterline surfaces finished in red antifouling, applied spring 2025
Optional larger Yanmar 2GM20 (19hp) marine diesel engine
Raymarine ST2000+ Tiller pilot
Raytheon ST60 depth instrument
Cobra Marine Submersible DSC VHF with in-built GPS
Plastimo Neptune 2000 gas cooker, 2 burner, grill and oven, gimbal mounted
Jabsco manual marine toilet
Eberspacher diesel fired blown air heater
Gaff rigged, masthead cutter rig with jackyard topsail.
Mast replaced with new item in 2022

A lightly used example the Cornish Crabber 24 DEIRDRE has just recently been launched for the season and is now available for viewing on her mooring at Creran Marine, near Oban.
